I haven't seen a solution that syncs to PCs. There is the Kindle app, which probably does something similar, but I couldn't get it to sync side loaded books from calibre , and I don't know how to read them on the PC Although for Win8 there's an App, but I also want it synced on my old and trusted XP machine.
Also I don't like the Kindle app a lot, I'd prefer another solution open source preferred, if it possible though Any ideas? Pls help.
I cant believe there s no solution for this. Only thing that comes to mind for me is Google Play Books, I'm pretty sure you can read your own uploaded files on any of your devices or a web browser by going to the my books section of the play store place you can also upload your own ebooks. Sounds good but have they fixed the orientation problem in Honeycomb? I gave up on Aldiko because it crashed every time I rotated my tablet. After sending several reports and going through a couple of updates with no fix, I gave up. Well, at last I read something that sounds feasible. Being a newbie it sounds easy but I am unfamiliar with the terminology. I have the Coby Kryos and am running Android 2.
I see a folder on my tablet that says 'ebooks' which there is nothing in of course.
I also see a book that I downloaded in 'my downloads' on my Windows Vista computer. How do I get that book on my computer over to my tablet? I need instructions that are very basic since I have no idea what I'm doing.

I've only tried it on one book so far, but it's working perfectly, as far as I can see.
